The New Middle Age blog took a break over the summer – time out to help my 16 year old twins transition into 6th Form – and evidence of the ‘long tail’ on the childcare/work conundrum! Government estimates indicate that one in four of us currently in our 50s can realistically expect to live to 100. With this in mind it is essential that we stop seeing 50 as old or older.
